SPEAKER: Caroline Pakenham and Nicole DelSasso, Center for Neighborhood Technology - Energy
Flooded basements, sewer backups and degraded water quality are just a few of the problems caused by improperly managed stormwater runoff. Learn how you can turn stormwater runoff into a resource by installing an urban rain garden. We will walk you through the design and construction of CNT’s Rain Garden Educational Facility so that you can create your own do-it-yourself rain garden. Already have a rain garden? We’ll also share tips about maintaining and preparing your garden for the fall and winter months.
