Community gardens are a great way for neighborhood residents to get to know each other while enjoying the outdoors in a safe and healthy environment. But where do you start, how do you find a space, and what resources and expertise are available to develop your plan?  Edde Jones from the city’s Greencorps Chicago program will facilitate a panel of community gardening experts to answer your questions and help you get your community garden off the ground and running. Whether you are a gardening veteran  looking for additional materials, would like to link more closely with others in your neighborhood who are already gardening, or would just like to learn more, this workshop is for you.
